Disability Assistance
The DAP worker will assist persons with an ABI when they are applying for Canada Pension Plan Disability Benefits. The DAP worker also advocates on their behalf when there is an appeal and tribunal process. Without the aid of this essential program many of the persons needing to apply for a disability pension would not be able to pursue, or successfully obtain, the financial and medical benefits required to meet their daily living needs.
